There have been a number of people asking about Heat Activated Glue and how to correctly use it with metal leaf and pigment powders. It seems there are a some people who have forgotten that the glue is NOT sticky until it is HEATED first. This is why they call it “Heat Activated.”

This great feature allows you to work with the glue, remove it with a wet wipe, and repeat unitl you’re sure you’ve got the glue only where you want it to go. Then, and only then, you’ll hit it with some heat from your heat tool and it will become tacky and ready for you to stick on your metal leaf and pigment powders.

And, you could indeed come up with many more uses for this unique glue. In fact, you are encouraged to stretch your creativity to the limits!

Here’s a short video on how to use Heat Activated Glue that also includes some pointers on how to correct mistakes if you happen the make them.
